In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing programs that drive onboarding success, leadership development, and compliance training. Your mission is to create engaging learning experiences that align with Later’s values, support our people’s growth, and ensure we remain compliant with industry standards.What you’ll be doing:Onboarding Program Management:
- Design, deliver, and continuously improve onboarding programs to ensure new hires have a seamless and positive experience
- Collaborate with managers, team leads, and the People team to ensure new employees are effectively integrated into the company culture and equipped with the knowledge and tools they need
- Track and evaluate onboarding metrics to optimize program effectiveness and employee performance
Leadership Development:
- Develop and implement leadership training programs that help emerging and experienced leaders and managers hone their skills and grow in their roles
- Facilitate workshops, coaching sessions, and leadership training that promote Later’s values and leadership competencies
- Partner with the leadership team to identify and address specific development needs, creating customized programs when necessary
Compliance Training:
- Ensure compliance training (e.g., data privacy, workplace safety, anti-harassment) is up-to-date and accessible across the organization
- Develop engaging content and facilitate training sessions, ensuring all employees meet compliance requirements
- Monitor and report on compliance training completions and follow up with employees as needed
Program Development and Evaluation:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and create interactive and effective learning solutions (e-learning, workshops, on-the-job training, etc.)
- Utilize and develop our organizational competency in modern learning technologies, gamification, and micro-learning strategies to enhance learner engagement
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and key metrics, making data-driven decisions for improvements
Learning Culture and Continuous Improvement:
- Advocate for a culture of continuous learning and development, providing tools and resources to help employees grow in their roles
- Stay current with trends and best practices in learning and development, integrating innovative approaches into Later’s programs
- Serve as a trusted partner to the People team, contributing to broader talent development initiatives

- 3+ years of experience in Learning and Development, Talent Development, or a related role in a fast-paced tech environment
- Bachelor’s degree and certification in Learning & Development, such as CPLP or similar, is a plus
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering onboarding, leadership, and compliance training programs
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage audiences in both in-person and virtual settings
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and experience with various instructional design methodologies
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms (WorkRamp) and digital learning tools
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate across all levels of the organization
Our approach to compensation:We take a market-based & data-driven approach to compensation. We leverage data from trusted third-party compensation sources to help us understand the market value of a role based on function, level, geographic location, and scope. We evaluate compensation bi-annually, including performance and market-related factors.Our salaries are benchmarked against market Total Cash Compensation for the geographic location of our job posting. Compensation for some roles is structured as On Target Earnings (OTE = base + commission/variable) while for others it is structured as Salary only.To comply with local legislation and ensure transparency, we share salary ranges on all job postings. Skills, experience and other factors help determine the final salary we offer which may vary from the original range posted.Additionally, all permanent team members are granted stock options and are eligible to participate in various benefits plans as part of their overall compensation package.Salary Range:$70,000 – 85,000Some perks of being on our team:
