If you’re seeking out work alongside a highly creative team known for their internationally recognized projects, you could be the mid-level project manager our interior design team is looking for.The successful applicant for this position of Intermediate Manager will act as Lemay’s client representative, planning and executing projects according to the client’s vision, quality, budget and schedule.What you will accomplish with us

  • Participate in or lead client meetings and presentations;
  • Identify, monitor and manage client needs, scope, schedule and overall project budget;
  • Develop creative and innovative concepts in collaboration with other team members;
  • Produce 3D models or coordinate their production;
  • Collaborate with the Discipline/Market Manager in budgeting and resource allocation for the interior design team;
  • Prepare construction drawings and specifications or oversee their preparation;
  • Use Lemay accounting software to plan, review, supervise and track employee contributions to assignments;
  • Prepare project invoicing with the finance and accounting team;
  • Follow up on outstanding accounts with finance and accounting team;
  • Prepare service bids and attend sales presentations;
  • Review and supervise production of conceptual presentations, drawings, specifications, tender documents, installations;
  • Coordinate or conduct space planning studies including programming documents, area calculations, code reviews;
  • Coordinate or conduct on-site site supervisions and contract administration;
  • Complete change orders, shop drawing reviews, deficiency reports, furniture/equipment surveys and inventories, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design;
  • Diploma or certification in project management (PMP), an asset;
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in interior design or architecture and relevant experience as a project manager;
  • Bilingualism in French and English, spoken and written;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, an asset;
  • Ability to manage several mandates and priorities simultaneously, whatever their scope;
  • Positive, proactive and constructive attitude with team-oriented leadership skills;
  • Ability to listen and summarize;
  • Flexibility in dealing with unpredictable events and tight deadlines.
