As we continue to expand,we are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker / Mold Maker / CNC Programmer to join our team in the Thorsby location.Job Summary:The Tool and Die Maker / Mold Maker / CNC Machinist will be responsible for the design, creation, and maintenance of molds, dies, and tooling used in the production of high-performance hot tubs. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit of leading and supervising a team while having hands-on experience in mold making, tool fabrication, and an understanding of the spa manufacturing process. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and longevity of our production tools.Key Responsibilities:

• Design, construct, and maintain molds, dies, and tooling for hot tub components.
• Work closely with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any tooling issues.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all tooling to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD designs to create precise tools and molds.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and improve tooling designs for new products.
• Ensure that all tooling and molds meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.
• Utilize CNC machinery, lathes, grinders, and other machine tools for manufacturing and repairing dies and molds.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Oversee and supervise a team, set direction, maintain accountability.
• Professionalism with clients.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or Mold Maker, preferably in the spa or plastics manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of tool fabrication techniques, CNC machining, and mold-making processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a team to meet production deadlines.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
