Our client is a leading provider of industrial carbon steel pipe, fittings, and flanges serving different industries.Your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain personal connections with customers within your designated sales territory. This entails identifying customer needs and concerns, developing new accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction within established guidelines.Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with existing and prospective customers.

• Conduct regular customer visits and follow-ups, both on-site and remotely.
• Drive quote follow-up activities within the region.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for acquiring new customers.
• Collaborate in the preparation of sales budgets.
• Stay informed about major projects and their potential impact on customers.
• Gather market insights and share them with the team.
• Prepare thorough call reports for review with the Regional Sales Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field and/or 5-10 years of proven experience in outside and inside sales.
• Knowledge of pipe, flange, valves, fittings, and/or energy industry.
• Experience in mining, industrial, oil field, project supply, or fabrication industries.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and Clean Driver’s Abstract.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical evaluation and drug test.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills.
• Proficiency in report writing and documentation.
• Ability to establish and maintain a strong working relationship.
